Return of the Sales Table
Sales Table – sales start 7pm
The Sales Table will be on again third Wednesday of the month. Edibles, whether biscuits, cakes, jams, pickles or fruit and vegetables are the most popular offerings. Be there early (by 7pm) if you have items to sell, or if you want to buy some of the delicious home cooking. Please collect and take home any of your items that remain unsold at the end of the evening.

Christmas Box for food for the Salvation Army  
We are collecting food for the Salvation Army this year and it would be appreciated if you could place either tinned food or other non-perishable food in the Christmas box at the clubrooms. If you don’t have a chance beforehand we will also have the box at the Christmas party as a last chance to contribute.


10 December: Annual End of Year Christmas Party

Timing for the event:
6:00 pm mix and mingle (nibbles provided by the club)
6:30 pm main meal commences. Please bring a pot- luck contribution for the dinner, your own beverage, a glass, cutlery and plates

And what delights do we have in store?
• A competition for the best costume or head gear (no bribing the judge )
• Some fun entertainment – this year 4 x VERY easy quizzes – just general knowledge this time
• The fabulous raffles to be drawn and winners announced
Chance to pop your contribution into the Salvation Army food box
• Lots of yummy food (thank you for your pot luck contribution) …. and last, but not least
• A great time to catch up with friends before the end of the year.

Wednesday 21 January 2026: Andrew Robinson – The Delights of Hut Bagging
The quest to visit a particular hut often leads to a great trip as Andrew Robinson has discovered. He will share stories of some great hut bagging trips and favourite huts and give budding hut baggers some tips on deciding where to go.

28 January 2026 : Jackie & Chris West – Walking the Cotswold Way
In September 2025 Jackie and Chris West walked the Cotswold Way in England. This is an area known for its quaint villages and picturesque fields with hedgerows. There are hills with panoramic views but also exposed to wind, rain, thunder and lightning all of which the Wests experienced before the trip ended with a visit to Bath hospital.
Jackie and Chris West will present another talk on 11th March about Walking the Thames Path.
