Ruapehu Bookings
The Lodge booking system and its current rates are fully described in the Information Sheet. Accommodation is booked by using the Payment Advice Form.
The Ruapehu Booking Officer is Sheldon (Shelly) Bruce. Contact details for the Booking Officer are outlined below. The Booking Officer will not receive payments. Instead all payments should
be sent to Phil Rundle, the Ruapehu Treasurer as detailed below.
Bookings can be made in the following ways:

By phone to 04 586 8961 and leave a message with booking details if there is no reply, or
For bookings made within 1 or 2 days of a planned trip it is essential phone contact is made with the booking officer to confirm there is space available in the Lodge.
Payments can be made in the following ways:

By direct credit to HVTC Ruapehu Bank.

By cheque posted to HVTC, Ruapehu Treasurer, P O Box 30-883, Lower Hutt.
The forms are also available from the notice board in the HVTC clubrooms. A copy of the payment advice form is attached to the Ruapehu Lodge Information Sheet.
The completed form should be posted to the Ruapehu Treasurer accompanying cheque payments or downloaded then emailed to the Ruapehu Treasurer at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
For 2009 a Lodge Visitors Register will be in use at the Lodge. It is the responsibility of each Lodge occupant to fill out this register each night they are in the Lodge. The register will be used as a final confirmation of Lodge occupancy as well as providing a record for fire safety and emergency purposes.
